Rollers aren't always accurate. That pull could've been on a Mickey Mouse dyno

You would think he would wash in before taking photographs.

Inside is filthy.

I wish him luck getting to a petrol station too with the gauge being zero.

Car sounds a bit rough. Worn steering wheel and door handles?

The ad does state the car will be valeted for the buyer, and the mileage is 102,000,so you'd expect some wear and tear.

No idea on the power claims, but in all,I think the ad is well put together, and is far,far better than some ads I've seen on Ebay, most seem to be written by three year olds!

Presentation is everything when selling.

Ground in mud like that suggests the car isn't well looked after.

Fully agree after 102, 000 miles you have to expect wear and tear. The leather looks fine, can't see the side bolster face though, I've never worn out a door handle before.

I cant understand why people let you see a car for sale that is dirty. Possibly psycological on my part but if it puts me off it will put others off to. It's got to be cleaned so why not clean it pre photo.

Went to look at a GTR that came up for sale near me. When i got there it was filthy inside the boot around the carpets and where the water runs round the channels of the boot lid. I was told it would hav a full valet. I would never let any car of mine get that dirty ever yet it's advertised for sale and needs a dam good clean.

All it said to me was that the previous customer didn't look after the car. Might have been interested if it was clean inside and the rear bumper matched the car.

Whats with the dyno read out? Look at the torque figures?

In regards to the car, its not all bad really. Ok it needs a full valet and trim Restoration maybe re dye the seats but mechanically he got a lot of it sorted.

Probably running boost on fuel gauge with the JB4.

So it sits at zero on idle.

Ah.

The range says 14 miles. Still running it a bit too close.

A_P if it's anything like his spurious power claims, he might even hit 50 mpg!

More and more cars of this standard will be coming to market now as our marque ages, but I am surprised to see that there is no mat down, and a quick vacuum out wouldn't have gone a miss?

I like the colour though, and with a bit of effort (M Sport steering wheel, different wheels and a good clean) it would be a cracking car once more!
