Help Diagnosing - AC/Fan issues

Hello Again I need some help for you guys diagnosing an issues with my Fiancès E90 2006 325xi. 65,000 miles, 1 owner CPO but warranty ran out last year.

The issue is when we're driving the AC/heat will randomly cut out - it normally happens at low RPM and seems to have gotten worse now that it is much colder in philly.

AC is set to Auto - fan is going at about 4 bars, and were sitting at a light and the fan will stop and restart in about 3-5 seconds. Does not seem to happen, or is less noticeable while driving the car (~ 1250 RPM +)

I searched the forums and couldn't find and threads on a similar issue within the first 5-10 pages.

What I'm guessing right now is the Belt is slipping, but after examining the belt it looks like it in great condition and the tension seemed fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks for all your help in advance.

EDIT:

Think i Found the Culprit - Same exact symptoms, how did this not come in a search before??

Just a first guess and simplest thing to check-relay? Or the blower motor?

I'll have to check that, I need to get some of the Torx Tools to get to the blower motor, I'll also have to look up where the relays are.

Thanks, I'll add it to the list

Check for a short in the wiring harness. The insulation may be old and crumbling on the leads into the harness.

I'm having the variable speed problem with my blower. Thing is I've replaced the blower which came with a new final stage resistor, so both are new. But the problem has not gone away. Blower speed with randomly change, but AC is still cold. Please Help.
