Quaife LSD
Any vendors in Canada that would sell it?
Thanks. |

Thanks nitehawk. I got a quote from him this summer and it was way too high IMO.
Almost $5,500 after tax/shipping. |

My Quaife LSD.. is still available if you want to swap + cash!!, your cheapest route, since you have Welded version.
Winter is coming soon too.. I think i'd be doomed without an LSD, if i got rid of it, and still have my car by then.

Doing it through me would be cheapest way, it would be roughly 1900 installed for you.. and i would be losing some labour $$

Is it even possible to swap a Quaife LSD from a 335i to a 335d? As you said, mine is welded on so would that mean that there would be differences between a 335i and 335d version of the LSD?

Not sure about the 335d, but the 335i had 2 types of differential housings since 2007 (a larger on and a smaller one) and Quaife have created 2 models that can work within each. I guess you need to clarify what model number you are looking at (I think they are either 10N or 13N, if I am not mistaken) and then determine if it is a valid option for your d. Harold@HPA or Mike@VAC can probably help with this.
It looks like a great deal for a great product, I hope you can make it work! |
