Thanks..I've been on the board for a while,I used to have an E92 335i,and recently traded it in for a 135i.I had some 6000k bulbs on my old E92 but they were a pure white, which was nice, but I was trying to go for something with a little more blue.Nothing to drastic, nothing like a 10000k +,thats why I was hoping someone would post some pics, just to give me an idea.I know there's several members who have 8000k here, but after combing thru several pages of threads,I figured it be easier to post a thread.Basically looking for a nice white with some blue. Btw how are those 6700k ? Would you mind posting some pics ?

Aren't those pics from reggie @ mwdesign ? I thought those were from his ride, and iirc, those are actually mtec 9000k. Btw what's up with the eBay sellers using the same pic ? I emailed a user by the name of globalhid asking what rating those were in the pic and they said they were 10000k. Last edited by E92White; 01-10-2011 at 04:07 PM.. |

Unfortunately the higher up you climb on the Kelvin scale, you sacrifice color for light output. Even with 6700k I noticed a significant reduction in lumens from my 4350...ish stock. I had GP Thunder 8500s in my fogs, and I couldn't see nearly as far as when I had Bimmian 6000k bright whites. I mean, they're fogs, who really uses them for light output? but still and all...Still waiting on a swap, will have pics of my OSS with the 6700s within a few weeks. Are you sticking with your stock rings? What's your plan on those?

None of the pics in this thread are 6700k. I believe sdfranco was talking about his lighting setup with the oss. Those pics above are at least 8k
