Plan on getting an exhaust-will warranty be voided???

Hey guys,

I plan on getting an exhaust fairly soon for my '11 e92. A friend of mine has this on his car and its very nice.

When I bought the car last year, I paid for the extended warranty.

If I get the exhaust, will it JUST void the warranty for things exhaust related?

OR

Does BMW lump the warranty all as one, and will they void the ENTIRE warranty?

My last car was a nissan maxima, and I fixed it up very heavily. I voided diff parts of the warranty along the way so I was wondering if BMW was the same.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

No, I have my exhaust system when my car was a couple of months old.
They can avoid your warranty if they can prove to you that the exhaust was the reason for any mechanical issues.

I see I See...I wonder what type of mechanical issues, theoretically, could an after market exhaust cause anyway?
