It's as simple as this dude. Don't have the body shop charge you for the rear bumper parts. Get them from getbmwparts.com (there's a kit already made for your car, select PDC option and remember to provide your vin during ordering) and have it drop shipped to the body shop. Done, and done.

Ok well thanks everyone. Jeez man i tried searching but few people post actually bmw part #s of all the parts needed (supports, diffusors). Insurance is paying so paying myself isnt really appealing.

Dude you WON'T BE PAYING YOURSELF!!! Get the check from the insurance company for the FULL REPAIR, pay the body shop what they need, and use the rest of the cash for your bumper. I did the EXACT same thing as you back in 2008.

Just so you know, the the law states the insurance check can be issued to you or directly to your body shop. With that said, you can order the part direct and deduct the amount that the shop intended to charge you for it. More often than not, the body shop is making some additional padded profit on the parts.

Go to realOEM, Search for your car Year/make/model. Search under exterior (or maybe aftermarket options)and you should be able to view the schematic diagram with all underpinning parts. Select the proper PN's for your application, order and specify commercial drop ship to your shop.

Okay I found this http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462 but no supports, underpinnings. any idea on where how to distinguish this from the stock bumper. I obviously cannot search by VIN since im changing parts...

Does this kit include everything I need if everything under my bumper cover was destroyed? I am going to need PDC sensors and whatever else is under there.

Send that page to your body shop and have them order the rest of the parts. The other stuff is identical for msport/standard.
