Only way to tell with JB4 is looking the ECU box or some SA/Techs will try the steering wheel controls to see if it turns the jb4 on or not. Safest way is to fully remove the tune. Easiest tune to be able to remove and install would have to be the Cobb or OFT or BB flash.

I heard its a different story with the 5 series. I'll just do some research. But my question for you guys is how harsh is the JB4 on the turbos? Whats a step below a JB4? Is it like jb3 or jb+?

I would do a JB4 but run a lower lower map. You can change the settings so that the maps aren't as aggressive. JB3 does same thing as JB4 but doesnt have as many features since the JB4 is the upgrade of it. From what I hear the JB+ is worthless and doesn't do much.

Yeah I wanted a new android phone so basically came down to HTC One or Galaxy S4 to replace my work Galaxy Nexus. My personal phone is a Galaxy S3 so getting the S4 was kinda dumb. HTC One didn't have a physical home button and camera ultra pixels were stupid.

The AnandTech iPhone 5s review sold me. http://www.anandtech.com/show/7335/the-iphone-5s-review

I just had no idea Google stopped supporting Exchange since my iPad was working fine. I found out they stopped support in January 2013, but existing users could still use it, until they upgraded or switched devices...

The iPhone 5s is speedy though...I'm just going to use it to take pictures of my food/check-ins, web-browsing, and navigation then; it's basically a small iPad

a bit ironic. should have had the iPhone for personal and an android for work...whatever

Currently there is the JB4 stage 1 and stage 2. Go with the stage 1 if you want a less aggressive tune.

My son is a master tech for another manufacturer with turbo cars and they inspect every ECU box any time a car comes in for warranty work. He has told me if the screws are tampered with they note and flag the vehicle history per the manufacturer so if you try and come back later with issues it's flagged you tampered with the ECU and they will pull the data and send along to HQ for analysis. Flashes uninstalled are hard to trace without dumping the ECU data which they have no time to do if they want to make money that day. He says he never dumps an ECU unless the field engineer says to and then he gets paid for the time.

i've never heard from anyone i know that works at bmw or on any of the forums that they inspect every ECU box. i've also never heard of anyone having a problem taking it off before service and then having warranty service issues later. i think if bmw did that it would be common knowledge by now.

i was thinking about going to that r1 thing but i looked at last years and it kinda looked ghetto so idk. some f10 crew ppl are going so i'm on the fence.

other than that kinda want to check out the movie rush and maybe switch my license from IL.

oh and there's some food truck that's suppose to park by the pool so i might use that for my disgustingly awesome fat meal this week.

the rest of the weekend will be xbox or going out and getting hammered. not sure which yet.
