Hi all,

I recently bought a '08 335xi. However, it did not have the navigation dvd. Do I need a '08 first then update with the current dvd? or Will installing only current dvd work? Do you know where I can get one at a decent price?

I'm not sure how many years in advance you can go with this one. I'd call a BMW shop and ask about it. I have a 2006 and bought a DVD update on ebay in 2010 and it worked just fine. There have been many highway/road changes in the last 6 years, so you want to get one that is as current as possible. BMW wants @ $200 for them but you can find them on ebay much cheaper.
