Can I use E36 M3/E85 bump stops with H&R sports on stock shocks?

Need to know if I can use E36 M3 or E85 bump stops on the front on my 2007 E90 (have heard this works better than OEM bump stops). I have H&R sport springs on stock shots...getting Koni yellows soon.

Long story short, shop thought I had new bump stops cut he other ones off and now I have none (shop is replacing then for free of course) and well yeah the car is totally slammed lol!!. I can find the E36 M3/E85 bump stops but not the E90 and don't want to wait until Tuesday or Wednesday for the dealer to get them especially if the E36 M3/E85 bump stops work better. I just want to be sure this does NOT lower the car more, but I am sure it just allows more spring travel.

Yes. Good call E36 M3F/E85 Z4R bumpstops. Bad call oe dampers with stiffer springs.

I am trying to research all of this, I am new to lowering lol!! Seems like the shop was correct in saying I was basically riding on the bump stops. The rear is not bad with the OEM but if I go M3 (E46) in the front this will allow more travel but will not lower the car more will it? Will this cause more rubbing issues since it has more suspension travel?

I am going to search for these, does it matter what year E46 bump stop I use? Does anyone have a part number or can someone tell me what to search for?...would be GREATLY appreciated! I can work on motors, comes to suspension...no way in hell! Lol!

Find the bumpstop thread by 'jwong77'. It has the bumpstop p/n's you're looking for. Shorter bumpstops won't change the ride height; they'll just give some travel lost with those springs. I haven't heard of anybody's tires hitting the fender liner unless they're too wide.

Get the rear E85 bumpstops he listed too.
Hope you're installing struts/shocks at the same time.
Saw your other thread; those are big wheels/tires. Guess you're going for a certain look. g/l

I know they are 20's but actuially wish there where not LOL! I just love those rims and they only come in 20's. The 19's I have now will actually be bigger in diameter with the tires because of the PSS running so big. I want a the widest tire I can get in the back and about the same in the front maybe a tad wider. The rims I am getting the design only goes to the the inside of the rim so they do not look as large hopefully. I am getting Koni yellows soon.

question, I am getting the E36 bump stops Tuesday and I was at the shop and when he removed the OEM (no bump stops at all) bump stops it seems the car sat lower? I thought with the shorter bump stops the car is no longer sitting on them (like OEM) why does the car seem lower? So with the shorter bump stop there will be more travel because the car is not sitting on the bump stop getting more travel to hit the bump stop is this correct? I am guessing when he took the bump stop all the wy out it compressed the shock and it sat lower? Wouldn't it do that with a smaller bump stop? Does this men my shocks are wore out?
