Talking Austerity motor

Following on from my thread about buying an older car.....ive done it. and i pick her up tomorrow.

Im really surprised at the car ive bought. Ive appreciated them but never loved them and sometimes even criticised them. However after driving one, im seriously blown away. Its a proper involving drivers car.

Let the guesses commence, and of course after i get her ill take pics and post a review on my looooong drive home.

Nice one, I really wanted one when I was cutting back, but just didn't fit my budget at the time (well, not a decent one at least).

They are pretty damned amazing.
I really, appreciated mine after doing 3000 miles across Europe in it after my 335i sold the week before we set off, I loved that car.
So much so that we kept it two years and then bought.......another one.

Good choice, we had one when they first came out. Backend can be very twitchy over the bumps, a very quick and fun car to drive though

It is a straight swap for the wifes Mini cooper auto. we own it outright anyway so it doesn't cost a penny.

Ive ended up buying the wife a Focus Zetec Auto 5 door in black which she says she actually prefers to the mini now as its much more capable at carrying kids around shopping you know ...bird stuff

So both cars owned outright, hopefully well keep these a few yrs and car costs should be minimal.

Oh and we get a house in florida as part of the deal
