New to BMW's but not cars! Thoughts?

Hello Community,

I recently have acquired a Gold BMW 325xi (Is that the proper color name?). I was wondering if the community can share their "gold" colored rides with me and how they have 'customized' it to their own unique personalities.

Any other gold BMW 325xi brethren out there?

Thanks! And thank you to e9post.com forums for having this community; it will help a lot through my ownership of this new vehicle.

your Gold

Gold is a quite rare color and I think most were delivered in the southern states. I think its a very rich color; as far as 325ix's, here are some important points:
1. ALWAYS check boots on CV joints; never let them split open
2. window regulators break; front can sometimes be repaired if caught early enough. Replacement can be a DIY
3. rear coil springs always break; keep oil or grease on them. they always break near the bottom-almost impossible to easily see. Replacement can be DIY.
4. crankcase ventilation aka pvc aka oil seperator; if this fails, will break your engine; get it checked out, perhaps replaced. Not DIY

Haha, sorry. Got ancy! Thank you for the replies... What colors usually go well with this Gold (more-so as rims would go). I was curious if anyone has some tastefully done BMW's like mine that they could show off?

Thanks again everyone for the feedback/suggestions.

I would probably go with black colored rims. Although it being a silver car, here's a picture of them: http://www.f30post.com/forums/e90gar...6/DSC00193.jpg (dunno why it says e90, it's an e46 lol)
