Doesn't show faults!!!

WHY!!!!!!???????

Proud owner of a E92, drives about 4.000 Km a month thinking nothing is wrong with my car, then took it to a workshop to order Spacers, and the guy asks me if I don't need to change my brakes?
I say no, I don't think so, it doesn't say in the display, he shows me how little is left of my rear pads 1,5 mm , My rear discs have 4-5 crack on each.
He checks the display :Check Ok
Hmm, he connects the computer to the car, fault on the seat heating, valve sensor, DPF, but nothing about brakes.

WTF???

Why doesn't the display say anything about either one of the faults?

BTW, the car doesn't have iDrive

If the sensor isn't triggered the car doesn't magically knows how much pad material you have left.
That leads me to believe that the brake sensors are just bypassed because normally they're oversensitive.

Hmm, interesting, but what about the rest of the faults, DPF, valve sensor, shouldn't the computer show that there's some kind of problem?

A brand new car from the dealership has error codes in it.
Car only shows an error if it's serious or if the error has been triggered multiple times.
