Bay Area ED group buy

I am planning to place my ED order and wanted to chcek if others would be interested in a possible group buy - the advantage being us use the number of cars in the order to leverage and work a better deal in our favor. email me at am_ver AT hotmail com (or PM me)

Haha great idea. Grab a few people and you'll have a very happy CA. Have you talked to a CA to get some numbers yet? If so, PM me your deal. My friend might be interested.

I organized a groupbuy like this when the 335 first came out. However, you dont need a GB to get a good deal with European Delivery.

^Yeah, I can't imagine how a dealer would give any more discount over the "cost" or "invoice" price of ED (including options @invoice). [Not ED MSRP prices, as posted on BMW's website]
These vehicles are not coming out of their allotment, and depending on what you agree to pay over invoice ($500-1500), I don't believe they're making a whole lot on this transaction. Which is fine for them, again, becuase really this money is kind of a small bonus for them, since again, this vehicle was not part of the their allotment.

I am trying to get the price closer to $500 rather than the other end of the spectrum ($1500); the dealer gets 3x times the business; hence more likely to take the order on!!
