Hey mbdurham (what's your name? lol), looking at my CE's, do you see the difference between mine and the ones's on the TL you posted? Notice how the spokes curve more and the bolts are set deep in the bowl-like center of the rims? Trust me, low offset rims look way better than their FWD counterparts. :rocks:

Yea, these type of rims are less flashy than others, it's more of beauty through form and function than blvd. cruising!

Well, ASA's are Korean, keep them on KIA's? LOL, but really, what makes these or any Japanese wheels "Japanese"? The CE's look like the Hartge Classics (I think that's what they are called)

This is a picture thread, so I don't mean to sound like I'm arguing.

those wheels just look like they belong on 350z's and skylines and g35s and whatever. they look out of place on a BMW is all. it would be like putting hartage or brabus gear on a nissan.

So are you saying that BBS wheels don't look good on BMWs?! They are japanese made!

BBS is German, the company's original name is Baumgartner Brand Schiltach and they are still headquartered in Germany. They may have a plant in Japan - they have a plant in the USA, too. BMW has a plant in the USA, it doesn't make them an American carmaker, does it? Please educate yourself a little better in the future, thanks!

Japanese guys do design German BMWs, Americans designing foreign cars for sometime now, etc. I don't want to go into it.

Keep in mind, the post was probably just talking more about the common makes we usually associate with wheels and nothing more.

I really don't understand what makes Volk more fit (visually) for Japanese model anyway. Compared to other brands, Volk are pretty tasteful for a wide variety of vehicles. Maybe this can be discussed later and in another thread of course.

Bring on the photos.
