Letting go of the TEs
I have a wheel fetish. A Volk wheel fetish to be precise. While the TE's were my dream wheel for the past 6-7 years and I'm glad to have finally been able to get them, i'm ready for a change up. I'm going to switch to Progressiv MEs. I figure I can cover the cost by selling my TEs and my 189s that have been in the garage for the past year. Im going to have to keep one of the two while I wait for the MEs, and I'll probably wait until after i've sold a set to cover the down payment. I was going to sell the 189s first, but the market is ridiculously saturated, so I think i'll sell the TEs first. So unofficially, my TE's are for sale for $2400. It'd be nice if some of you who've sold volks before can tell me if thats a fair price or not. I posted in this thread thinking that maybe some of you are interested/know someone who's interested and I figured the volks fans should get dibs over the "outsiders" F:18x8.5, R:18x9.5. Meteor silver.

If i can't blame snohman, i'm just going to blame wj4. This is NOT my fault! Too many volks, too little time. I should just run a TE, a CE, an ME, and an RE at each wheel and call it a day

Wow what a great post!! Mackin makes high quality wheels. I used to be partial to the "euro style" than amused by what the "import scene" was doing. Now, I think that it's ridiculous that there is a divide between scenes. If it looks good, it does not matter what country it is from. All people can live together, let it start with your BMW.
FYI - The Ferrari Enzo was designed by a Japanese. |
