Looks stunning - good luck in keeping it that way. The drivers carpet mat could do with a hoover next time though!

Agree, it looks fantastic. I love the Lemon leather. Is that a Porsche I can see in one of the reflections?

Looks stunning!

What products did you use in your detail!

Are your wheel hubs at all rusty?

I had to paint mine a months ago, tranformed the look and I had to do a friends today on his 56 plated 330i M Sport Saloon in SG. It now looks as it should!

Thanks guys.

Not a porsche but my wife's new MR2.

I had only just put the mat's in as they were brand new, moved it and hey presto dirty. (well that's my excuse )

I will wax it every 2 weeks or so and as long as it's washed correctly it should be fine

Hi scottc, your new car is looking fantastic!!!

I'm considering getting a detailer to do the PDI on my new car when it arrives to avoid the dealer installed swirl marks

The only quote I have so far is £800 though

If you know of anyone in either the beds/herts or suffolk/essex area you could recommend I'd be grateful for a pm

Enjoy your new wheels

Nohedes, if you are willing to travel to Reading way then I know of two people that are very good and would do it. You could always do it after the PDI.

I will drop them a line and see if they will travel, where about are you?

Oh and they would be cheaper than £800 unless of course you have asked for something extra special

Ask on detailingworld - that is WAY too much IMHO for a new car. Someone offered me a detail including paint correction on a new car for about 200 quid. 800 quid to me would be someone like Miracle Detail spending a day or two on it !!!!

Thinking of blacklines or not?

Yep black lines and a black grill, would love a set of 19" Alpina's as well

Had an new S3 this weekend on demo and I have to say although it was fast and well built etc it was not a patch on the 330, the 330i is one of the best all round cars I have driven and it is streets ahead of my E46 330i which was awesome

Yep about £200 is right depending on who you go to but the better products you want them to use will bump up the price and also if you get charged by the hour and the car takes a long time then it might cost you a lot more.

Have a look at www.waxology.co.uk.

Scott - have you used waxology? I'm looking for a detailer but to date they are either too expensive or don't show up!

BC4J - I believe waxology is owned by Johnnyopolis, who if I'm not mistaken also owns/runs http://www.cleanandshiny.co.uk/ and also is one of the founding members of detailingworld.co.uk (the main detailing site in the uk).

Here's just one example of his work on a beemer which involved some wetsanding - check out how he gets rid of the vandalism !!!!

You'd think so wouldn't you, but no, it's actually coming from Coopers in Ipswich
