bump
edit: Boone Racoon, i would prefer to keep it local, but will probably ship if I don't get any bites. In all honesty, if all you need are the cats, you may score a better deal purchasing someone's midpipes |

Free bump for a question!
I guess Im really confused - the car Im looking at buying is completely catless. I want to revert back to stock - and I guess my confusion is coming from what exactly are the DPs and what are the midpipes. I feel like an idiot - is there an exhaust diagram for dummies around here somewhere?! |

does the car still have warranty? if not, i'd leave the downpipes in place, and just put the mid cats on to pass emissions and reduce odor.
the downpipes begin from the turbo and come down to attach to the midpipes. there are cats on both downpipes, as well as the midpipes the piping arrangement from the turbo is as follows: downpipes -> midpipes -> muffler if you're in dire need of the downpipes, i will ship them to you so you can get the car up and running |

I might be in need of the DPs - waiting to see if this car goes through.
if I go to a catback exhaust (AA specifically) doesn't that just attach directly to the DPs? If so I would prefer to just buy the DPs and get the AA exhaust. it DOES have the 100k warranty on it which is why I want to go back to stock DPs, and if need be stock midpipes. I was under the assumption a catback would likely not void the warranty. Thanks for the help! Might be picking these up from you as well. |

So, how are you enjoying the Bastuck? I kinda regret selling it. I didn't care for the sound when connected to stock DP. I never tried it with CL DP's. Did you try it both ways? If so, was it a lot better with the CL DP's?

when i put in the catless DPs it got a lot louder and took on a more aggressive note. it sounds great (and i do get many compliments now), but it is a little too aggressive for how my car looks. my e92 is pretty much stock cosmetically. axelback exhaust was one of the last things on my list, but you offered it at an amazing price. i couldn't pass it up! |
