Attention All,

Steve is THE MAN!!

I made the trip from South Jersey to Brooklyn, NY to meet with Steve and get the Alpina B3 flash done to my 2012 e92 N55. (About 2 hours travel time)

Words cannot describe the professionalism and pure class that Steve has exhibited through this whole process. He was extremely quick with his responses through texts and was able to fit me in for the coding with short notice. He was very very thorough and a perfectionist.

The Alpina B3 flash is simply stunning. I would drive 5 hours if I had to do it again need be. The car is a complete monster and now breaks the tires loose in 2, 3 and 4th gear when in m sport mode if not shifting quick enough.

The shifts are literally lightning fast and like butter. There is ZERO lag and feels like the car is propelling you forward into the next gear.

My car feels like a rocket as is and my meth kit is on the way!

Sport mode is awesome and normal drive mode gives you great MPG

I had two friends in the car to join me on the ride up and back and they were in shock and awe at the difference on the way back home after the flash.

I am SOOOO HAPPY I didn't wait any longer and this may be my favorite mods so far.

I cannot thank Steve enough or put into words how thrilled I am.

If anyone is even debating this, you are an absolute fool and should not wait a second longer!

It doesn't flash. Even if you try to force it, Winkfp doesn't allow you to flash as the tranny module is not compatible besides the valve body.

It's interesting for me, because the ATM are the same.
I assume that you checked it.
So it has to be something else what is responsible for ECU flash.

We tried to flash it to 3 model year two 1/07 and one 12/06and it didnt flash...WinKFP wouldnt even go further as soon as you press program, it errors out...We already discussed this that the valve body is different and changed over 3/07

Damn. You really are gonna make me drive up to see Steve in NY from Philly aren't you? Only thing holding me back is still under warranty and if I want to trade/sell the car in the next two years trying to get it back to stock...at least that's what I'm going with for now.

Oh Chris, there is no reason not to go see Steve now. The trans is smooth as butter, and shifts are just amazing. My "annoying thing" was the jerkiness and lag at certain shift points with this slush box of an AT- but I swear it's 110% better now for me.
I have 4 more years buddy- rest easy, Steve is the father of this, without him this would not be possible.
By the way, this is BMW software Chris- you have nothing to lose- and oh so much to gain. Let us know how you like it!!

Anyone else on the fence- let me tell you, I was the most skeptical and chicken shit guy in this thread.
I am now a believer. Do not wait any longer, because once you realize what this really does for your car, your new question becomes "why the hell did I wait so long??"

Steve flashed my car as well. He is a great guy. The B3 flash is the best mod someone with a 335i 6AT can do. It totally transforms the car. It feels like a DCT. Glad you love the flash.

Lol i know, i was scared

... the engine wasn't warmed up and i only had a lil bit to take the car out today... dont worry, more track vids like the other ones in my feed will occur soon

Side note, I did this on a 64bit Win 7 machine ... and on top of a cobb Stage 2 Aggressive tune... The full potential will come this summer when S2+ comes out
