Vreds ultra or Avon ZZ5?
I have decided to ditch the runflats and go over to the non run flat side
I have narrowed it down to the above 2 brands in relation to my budget and have read various reviews on the tyre review website but undecided which to go for The only negative I have read about the Vreds is the wear rate but apart from that postive reviews/great looking tread/pattern and very good value for its price range The avon zz5 also have good reviews and not read any negatives but there does only seem to be a handfull of reviews about this tyre (maybe good or bad?). Agaain the tread with the deep grooves look good for in the wet? Does anyone have expereince of either of these, particularly the Avon ZZ5? |

I am on Avon ZZ5, and cant wait to go back to Vreds Ultra.
I personally found that Avon zz5 wear quicker and wet grip is poor compared to Vreds Ultra. Defo Vreds Ultra. Go for it.

vreds here!!!
Good grip in the wet and in the dry its similar to potenzas. Handling and ride quality better. ( I felt that suspension was less firm after the change and bit more roll, but for fast uk road driving, this is actually better IMO) Overall, better than shitty bridgestone rft and value for money. |

Currently got Bridgestone rft's on the rear and yokahoma rft's on the front.
Want to drop the rft's in the next couple of months. Previously liked Goodyear eagle f1 assyemetrics (spelt that wrong lol) but rated them for grip wear an noise on my old ST. |
