Hi guys. Checked my scanner and these codes came up. I'm a bit new to reading into this stuff, but from what I've researched it relates to water pump and thermostat (open??). Does this mean it's on its way out?

2EF5 - map thermostat, input signal
2E81 - Electric coolant pump, speed deviation, speed outside the tolerance

yeah, they're done. At least you got some warning! do it now before you're stuck on the side of the road.

I changed my DME to make these trigger the check engine light. By default they don't trigger anything so they only way you'd know is if you scanned the car.

You need a way to flash the dme & edit files. OFT or the bavarian technic cable will flash it. I posted which bytes to change in my msv70 thread.
