Can't speak for AIB, but just got my LUX H8s delivered today (earlier than when I expected and there were not 1 but 2 candy canes in the box!) and just finished the install. They look amazing! I'm very happy with the purchase and as soon as I get a camera than can really capture them I'll post up some pics. Definitely can't lose with the look of the LUX and NA Motorsports are great to deal with!

First had experience with both... I sold my LUX H8 and kept the AiB for numerous reasons. Nuff said.

you can either search the for sale section on this board and find a used set, or you can get it here: http://www.namotorsports.net/detail....rt_cd/MDSLUXH8

those are your only options

I asked this before in another thread but didn't get a response--for those of you with Lux H8s, do the angel eyes fade in/out with the welcome lights when you unlock the vehicle like the stock bulbs do?

I've heard they don't. I think someone said that in one thread. I didn't even know my angel eyes turn on when I unlock my car haha.

There is a very slight fade on/off. The fade off is definitely more noticeable.

No. They flicker like crazy... 16 flashes on each side, which I find extremely annoying.

Any LED angel eye will do that - its the cars way of testing out the exterior bulbs of the car.

I have the V1 Lux 8 with the harness and there is no fade, no flashing, they just pop on, and pop off.

I personally love them, I went from RD's to the HID kit to the LUX and the LUX is the best balance of color, brightness during the day, and being not blinding to oncoming traffic at night imho.

you counted the flash??? marc is right about the system checking all the lights. you normally dont see it when you have the regular bulbs on because LED doesnt need that much power to power up. the signal they send out is very low but low enough for the LED to pick up.

wrong, they do not do this when the lights are set to auto. the only way for them to come on with the welcome lights is to set it to auto. what you are talking about is when the headlights are turned to the off(0) position.

Nope. My LUX H8 flicker when set to Auto AND when turned off. I'll have to take a video to show. The only way the don't flicker for me is if you turn on the DRL in the iDrive, which I hate to drive around with. This is on a stock & unmodified LUX H8 kit with the sticker on the black box. Just giving you my personal experience on this.

oh...I'd love to drive with my new Luxs on all the time. Why would you turn off DRL in iDrive?
