i agree to Shragon. Harris Ranch does smell. I think we are going to spend more time on the outside than inside, poop smell is going to be a big factor.

We agree wholeheartedly. FM McKlintocks BBQ, Mo's BBQ, etc. you can't go wrong. They have an annual BBQ cook-off in April/May for their weekly farmers market, the only problem is its Thursday nights.

SLO is exactly ~3 hours from each.
We just came back from Newport Beach via 101 and stopped in SLO for lunch. 6 hours total.
We take the truck out and go camping in the dunes around Pismo Beach pretty often.
