New 335is audio question

Ok I have just took delivery on a late 2012 335is with the updated hk stereo and I drive with nav. Is the a cd changer in this beast?

Is there a best flat response curve on the equalizer as well? That someone may have found.

Thank you.

You all have been a wealth of knowledge on the car and thank you all for your contributions,

2010 x5 4.8 in m trim owner and now a 335is.

Cd changers are almost dead

You should have USB on a newer car load up a USB stick with your favorite tunes . You can get far more tunes on a USB stick and it will never have a mechanical failure , also you can edit it or put new stuff on it . Use and ipod if you don't like that or your phone may be capable of some music storage .
Also I think the hard drive in the Nav Unit is capable of storing some tunes.
It does have a single CD and if you load that up with High Quality mp3 you can get 50 or 60 tunes on one of those disks more if low quality.

There is a sticky at the top of the page for eq setting for L7 stereo

Yeah, it's already pretty flat. The issues have more to do with driver impulse response, associated dynamic distortions, and poor crossover design at the mid/tweet handoff than they do a flat response, I'm afraid.

But congrats on what is certainly a very nice car

Thank you all. I have got that whole USB deal worked out now too. Found a great piece of software to rip iTunes also into a nice mp3 folder structure. It's called tune clone and it does that unlock protected content DRM so I can play those tunes In the car.
