Best Street Tire

I have done some research, and I think the best street tire for dry/wet conditions is the Bridgestone Potenza S-04 or RE970AS (all-season version basically). I appreciate any input and all challengers.

How'd you come to that conclusion? I think it's pretty clear from the non-partisan tests I've read + my own personal experience, that the best street tire on the market right now is the Michelin Pilot Super Sport.

For an ultra high performance all-season tire, I would agree that the Bridgestone Potenza RE970 A/S Pole Position would be a top choice. For a summer only tire, the Michelin Pilot Super Sport would top the list.

Agreed

I agree with both of you. Thanks for the comparison links - good resources
Michelin Pilot Super Sport - best dry/wet summer tire
Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS - best all season tire

The Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position is a very close second, and you save $120 on a set of 4 ($30 price differential per tire).
