Vorsteiner** Flaws?

Hey Im very intrested in getting vorsteiner hood but someone showed me this thread

I was thinking about getting the plastic version of it since i want it painted.. but it seems like theres a lot of fitment problems with it.. I know very few people have these so let me hear their e90 side of the story...

maybe it was true for the e46s... i mean if your a small company and your asked to produce more products within a short period of time b/c demand is increasing, they probably arent gonna scrutnize as much over the finished product... i'm pretty sure they can handle the load now tho.

Long u have the carbon fiber version.. people have problems with the plastic ones lol.. cause in that case I would just get the Cf one so i dont have to paint it lol

Couldn't you paint over the cf hood? Maybe that would defeat the purpose, I don't know. I love their hood, I've just never been crazy about the cf look. If you paint it, you have the look of a perfect body match, but also get the lighter weight, more strength, and those cool vents.

For the 1 out of every 200, 300, or 400 pieces they make that DON'T fit, Vorsteiner offers replacements. We had a customer who wasn't happy with one of his parts - Vorsteiner sent out a replacement.

On the whole, though, the parts fit immaculately!
