Help with Downpipe Install
I'm banging my head against the wall with my new DPs. I'm fairly mechanically inclined; have done VCGs, OFG, suspension, etc. so this shouldn't be that hard.
For the life of me, I can't get the four bolts off the OE DPs and the cat back exhaust. I live in Pittsburgh so 94,000 miles of crap has built up on these. I don't have a torch, any other ideas on how to get these off? Suggestions on where to cut? |

Are you using an impact gun? You can snap those suckers if you put enough torque on them. Mine snapped using hand tools. 1/2" drive rachet, universal joint, 16" extension, and manly arms.

My nuts were pretty corroded though, had a hard time even getting a 12mm socket on there. |

Last 2 sets I did I broke off the nut pretty easily with a 1/2" ratchet and socket. You should be able to get them to break with a large breaker bar, if not it's drill time.
