Help with Downpipe Install

I'm banging my head against the wall with my new DPs. I'm fairly mechanically inclined; have done VCGs, OFG, suspension, etc. so this shouldn't be that hard.

For the life of me, I can't get the four bolts off the OE DPs and the cat back exhaust. I live in Pittsburgh so 94,000 miles of crap has built up on these. I don't have a torch, any other ideas on how to get these off? Suggestions on where to cut?

Are you using an impact gun? You can snap those suckers if you put enough torque on them. Mine snapped using hand tools. 1/2" drive rachet, universal joint, 16" extension, and manly arms.

I was trying to do it with a 1/2 breaker bar, didn't even think to use my impact driver. I'll give that a go.

My nuts were pretty corroded though, had a hard time even getting a 12mm socket on there.

Last 2 sets I did I broke off the nut pretty easily with a 1/2" ratchet and socket. You should be able to get them to break with a large breaker bar, if not it's drill time.

I got 3/4 off during my install, and one I had to cut through with a hand saw. Just keep powering on you can do it
