335i owners with MT please read
I have noticed something weird with my car and I wanted to see if others have the same thing. I don't know if the car being warmed up or not makes a difference but when I have the car in neutral while parked and I rev the engine up and hold it at about 1100-1200 rpm's I feel the car wobble or shake. It's pretty strange. Anyway if you guys could try this and report back that would be great.

I used to get this a lot and worry about it when my 135 was newer. I believe it's just drivetrain rattle, the same rattle you get when you turn the car off with the clutch pedal out. If you clutch in and do the same thing the rattle goes away. I doubt it's anything to worry about.

It's nothing to worry about, I already had a tech look at it. Almost all manual tranny BMW's do it since the e36. It's just drivetrain rattle. If you are really worried about it then take it in, but I've had no problems with it....other than it sounding clunky when you turn the car off.
The problem isn't while in gear, it's when you are in neutral with your foot off of the clutch pedal, if you give the car a little rev to maybe 2k when the revs drop there is a little rattle/shake. You get the same rattle/shake when you turn the engine off with your foot off the clutch in neutral. It's normal.

mine seems smoothe as well, but I understand what amsfoto is saying.
Our trannies are loud and sloppy so it could be what you're feeling. Remember that when the trans is in netral with your foot off the clutch the trans is connected. It makes sense that it would cause some vibration.

I only feel it if I hold it steady right at 1100. I can feel it in the seat and the pedals. Maybe it's nothing but I just want to know if anyone else has this. It doesn't affect driving or anything but it just seems weird to me.

i have seen that at idle. I figure it's the fuel pump or something.
