Home network .... Apple airports

What setup would any of your experts recommend for what I have :

BT modem (infinity)
AirPort Extreme (5th gen) main
AirPort Extreme time capsule (3rd gen)
Airport express (2nd gen)

Currently setup as the following :

Modem
Wired to
AirPort Extreme

Wireless to
Airport express and time capsule

All set up as local link, the express and t/capsule are extended from the extreme

Would I be better of setting it up as a bridged setup ?
Or is what I have good, fast and the best way?

The reason I ask, occasionally when I client is connected to the t/capsule occasionally the Internet runs slow
It's odd as the wireless connectivity from the main unit, the extreme, is excellent as is the signal to the express.

Any idea's ?
