UPDATE: SOLD CAR. NOT MORE EXHAUST! I miss the sound of this exhaust!

If I get my new exhaust then I'll be selling the stock 335is exhaust. Just mufflers only and no pipes. I just wanted to give you guys heads up and see if people are interested. Also PM me offers since I don't know used prices for the exhaust.

Based on my research here are the part numbers: RealOEM Website

Separately, the mufflers are $420 and $320 for left and right plus the extra for clamps etc.

Tischer sells them as a package for $695: Tischer URL

Since I am ASSUMING that I don't have at least 2 of the 3 clamps, I am deducting $100 from the Tischer package price. So assuming it is $600 new, I am hoping to get around $350 for my used one. Is that fair? I haven't seen many 335is exhausts for sale.

I can't PM 'cause I'm a n00b, but just picked up a 335i, am in NoVA, and think my exhaust is too quiet... if you haven't taken it off your car yet I'd love to hear it. email is n8nagel at geemail dot com. I'm assuming that if the clamps on my car are in good shape that I wouldn't need to get more from Tischer?

I might bite because I love my friend's 335is exhaust. However, I can't promise purchase until next week.

All, I did not know there would be this much interest this quick! I'll definitely update you all on the status. If I get the new one this week, I will have it installed over the weekend. I will also take some pics today if I get a chance to put it on the ramp so we'll know if it is welded or clamped.

After reading numerous threads, exhaust at this point is a waste of money so I've decided to use the money to get some downpipes instead and then change the exhaust if I don't like the sound. Sorry folks. At the moment, I am going to keep the exhaust!

Curious to know if you've installed the downpipes and if so how do they sound with the 335is exhaust? I'm afraid to take the plunge - I hear downpipes are the 335i gateway drug. First downpipes, then exhaust, then intercooler, etc.

Yes. Because the IS exhaust is louder, so are the rasps. I am looking to install the resonators and then will report back.
