About to pull the trigger this week - even on the XI the front sway end links are required? Any recommendations for shop as well?

What are you going to use them for or your end goal? V3 is a pain for the street to adjust and set up. If you read the forums there are all kinds of problems with KW. I installed a set on an Audi TT(V2) and they were not that impressive. I happen to like the Bilstein or TC Kline stuff better. I Put a set on a Caymen S and they are awsome and no noise. I looked at KW for mine, but I went with a whole different set up in the end since I did not want a big drop. I went with the BMW set up with the M3 arms and it's a great set up and doesn't ride like a rock. I can take you for a ride if you want before you jump in.

Just realized you have an XI so my set up won't work. You are limited with what you do with the XI. Not sure on the swaybar links on the XI. If you just want to lower it, just do springs.

Sorry for the short notice guys but weather permitting, this coming Sunday the 11th, a few of us (3 cars so far) are planning a little run down and around Wayne National Forest and hitting up route 555 and 374. It's a little over 230 miles, so I guess it's not short, but should be a good way to chew up a Sunday and keep anyone from getting bored. The plan is to meet up at the Bob Evans in Groveport around 12-2 pm (working out the details...) and then head out for the slightly longer than 5 hour, 30 minute drive. Here's a link to the map: Let me know if you'd be interested!!

Cool! We'd love to have you join. I'm starting to doubt the whole trip too since it's so long but we'll iron out a firmer plan here tonight or tomorrow.

You need a wire pin tool to make removing the pins from the harness easier and be sure to disconect the battery!

How about we cut that in half? Like we can cut straight up the 13 and stay in Wayne rather than going down to Strouds Run Park....

I've done the 555 drive several times in my s2000 but now i want to in the 335i. Right now I am living in Athens and will be here this weekend. PM me and we should meet up when you guys get close to Athens. I live 5-10 minutes away from where 33 and 550 meet.

I am thinking about doing some body work to my 2006 325i including a full pre-lci to lci front-end conversion. I have been reading up on how several others have done this. My plan is to order an LCI M-Tech kit, an LCI hood, and install the front-end and side-skirts only. I'm not so much concerned about doing the rear bumper.

Here's where I need some help. Unfortunately there aren't many good shops that I know of who can help me faciliate doing this (installation, painting, ordering, etc.). I am not very good with cars, but I know I can save myself some dough if I fit the parts myself, and farm the painting out to someone else. My question is, does anyone know of a good shop near Columbus, Ohio who won't completely destroy me on labor to install or paint the parts? Does anyone else here have experience doing anything like this and would be willing to chat with me about the best way to go about it? Or even better, wants to take a couple weekends with me to install it? I would pay you, of course! I feel pretty comfortable about the total cost, but I just want to make sure I am not biting off more than I can chew.

Drop me a PM if you think you can help me in any way!
