BMW Trackday
Got my official invite today from my dealer for the Thruxton trackday next Thursday with Tiff Needel. It is an all day affair, from 9 till 4, with both lunch and breakfast supplied. But the most interesting part is the car list that is avilable to drive all day(The ones they have 2 of I am assuming manual and DCT/auto);
123d M Sport 135i M Sport x 2 118d SE 335d M Sport x 2 335i SE 330d M Sport M3 Coupe x 2 535d SE 535i SE 635d Sport 650i Sport M6 Coupe 760Li M Z4 35iS z4 30i M Sport X1 xDr23d SE X5 xDr50i M Sport X5 xDr40d SE X6 M Mini; John Cooper Works x 2 JCW Convertible Cooper S There will be instruction available all day, around the track, on an off roading course, and a MINI handling activity. And there will be flying laps with Tiff in the M3. Should be a very interesting day, and one I am really looking forward to, especially as it looks like a large amount of the vehicles I want to drive are DCT or auto, as that's all I can drive at the moment!!!! Very cited

How did you get an invite Oli?
Is this a specific dealer or BMW GB thing? I've only ever been invited country houses and golf related bollocks by my dealer! Sounds like a hoot. Must drives for me would be: 135i M3 X6M X5 40d Z4 35i JCW mini |

Its a BMW UK event, but I think each dealer has their allocation. My business partner does all the golf and football events - he went to see the champions league final in Greece,a couple of years back with Ford, all 5 star, and stayed in the same hotel as Milan!!!, and I do all the driving events - Love it.
I presume we got invited because we have just swapped dealers to this one and already have ordered two cars with another in the pipe line( this is before we had any for customers, these are all for us), we spend approx £15k a year on parts with them, and obviously the idrive problem that happened with my car. Thank you BMW
