M-Steering wheel -- is this a good price

I want to upgrade to something a little thicker -- as my steering wheel feels a little too... u guys get the idea

I got an offer for an M-steering wheel -- the one with the M-color stitching (non perforated steering wheel), airbag, multifunction cover, and everything else to make it a truly plug and play model for $975 shipped.... is that a good deal?

Why not just get the wheel and reuse the airbag and cover. It'll only set you back a few hundred vice getting a whole new set. Re-use what you got.

if he doesn't have the zsp sport package, then he can't reuse the airbag and cover as they are different. i kick myself in the @$$ everyday for not getting zsp. i want upgrade my steering wheel too, but i can't get myself to spend close to 1k on that right now.

Isn't there anything else you could spend a G on? You don't have a sport pkg. Why not put suspension on your car instead?

I have Koni FSD's. Mtec kit is on its way. 2 sets of rims. blackout all around... the next route is sound -- as performance is still pretty limited.

I guess you do have to buy the airbag for the 325i's. Different steering wheel indeed. Well, you should be able to sell the OEM stock steering wheel & airbag on Ebay for a couple hundred dollars.

just a question, but who would want the oem steering wheel and airbag, except for those who have crashed etc? its one of those things everyone already has, or has a better version of it (sport package)....it is true tho, i cant bring myself to spend $1000 on a steering wheel, even though its basically 100% the only thing i touch everytime im in the car. drivability, there are many other things you can do. maybe next year.

A while ago I saw a number of people selling the OEM wheel because they upgraded to the M wheel. I think most of them sold the OEM wheel to
others that did not have the sports package.
These people still had to go buy the air bag.

The non-sports package wheel is ugly, IMO.
So, there seems to be some demand for the sports package one.

But like you said, it's a lot of $$$.

money's tight right now... in the future, i was hoping some others will come up. i remember coming across some discussion on this forum that basically fit the m steering wheel with the paddle shifters... i'm interested in that, but the seller has yet to let me know...

it's the M3 wheel (just like the one on the new m3 concept)... w/ the tri color stitching (which i wasn't such a fan of)... but love the look and material of the actual wheel itself -- non perforated wheel.

maybe in the future.

M3 Steering Wheel....NOT MSport Pkg Wheel

I just got the true M3 wheel shipped to Canada from Europe. I bought it last Friday on Ebay from http://stores.ebay.com/AGE-Tuning and received it this afternoon in my Post Office Box. Price was $265 + $45 Shippping, US $'s, and will be worth every penny. This wheel is Thick, Great Material, Blue and Red stitched....Wheel from the M3 Concept Car....Beautiful.....Now just have to get the car here so that I can switch it out....

I would definitely reccommend contacting Albert at AGE-Tuning (albert_eliasson@hotmail.com) if you are looking for either the M3 Wheel in the Full Leather or the M3 Sport Package Wheel in the perforated Leather.

This is the one that I purchased...It is VERY COOL:

Manufacturer: BMW

BMW part number: 32 30 2 283 732

Material: Leather

Color: Anthracite [Black]

Diameter: 365 mm.

Condition: New

Item for sale: Steering wheel without airbag

This genuine 2007 BMW M3 E90 (note the unique ///M-colored threads) can also be fitted into any of the following vehicles:

BMW 3-series E90 & E91: 318i, 320i, 320iT, 320d, 320dT, 325i, 325iT, 325xi, 325xiT, 330i, 330iT, 330xi, 330xiT, 330d, 330dT, 330xd, 330xdT. All limousine and touring.

BMW 3-series E92: 320i, 330i, 335i, etc.

He also has available the M3 Wheel with the Airbag etc. if you do not have the Sport Packaged Wheel to swap the guts out...He sells this wheel for $899 with everythng included...Here's the link:

Happy Shopping....

Thx...I didn't realize that. ....agree on the $1K...way too much for a steering wheel.
