Removing the center councol to swap the as try for a sun glass holder
Is there a stupid person guide or has some one done a wright up on how to do this

And I did it this afternoon, photo on its way, once I saw the YouTube clip I went back and had another go, a gentle but forcible tug and off it came, unplugged 2 looms, pulled the gear leaver through the hole, undid the 4 screws, unclip the cover then the revers to put it all back together....And my sunglasses fit in it........ Beginners luck. I found out about the ashtray conversion while looking for info about trim wrapping (I could not stand the silver trim). I thought it was a good idea to get it done while I'm at it as I don't smoke. Had no idea what those clips look like so I just pried with a screwdriver and they were all intact when the cover came off. I probably would break some if I had to do it again. They are not designed to be taken off...
