Water pump

On my way to work today, my car overheated. From what I read in the n52 area it's most likely the water pump or thermostat. I plan on ordering both of those parts when I get home. I'm not the most mechanically smart guy & I don't think I have the tools for a DIY anyway.

Does anyone know a good shop/mechanic that can do this for me in the Broward/Dade/south palm beach area?

I have a 2006 330i with about 83,000 miles btw.

I am in the exact same boat as you. My car overheated a couple days ago and now I have to take it to BMW to get fixed. Thankfully Im under warranty so its free but still, its a crappy feeling when you see that emblem come on.

Monaco, sorry to hear what happened.
Call Jersen +1 (954) 464-7719
He will do it for the most reasonable price out there. You can sit there while he does it and you'll see the work that goes into it and you'll see that he charges way below what any other shop would. His personal car is a 328, so he's familiar with it.
You can call him this afternoon or text him of you'd like.

Some other guys and my self on the forum have used him so they may chime In.

Good luck

Are there any symptoms before a water pump failure?

Yeah mine went out around that mileage. The only symptom I got was the chime in the dash and then a loss of power.

Same here I was just driving on the highway. The warning light came on yellow, then red, & car went into low power state.
