For those interested, here's a rundown of everything I used:
My cart with detailedimage: 1 Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant - 8 oz 1 Poorboy's World Liquid Natty's Blue Wax - 16 oz 1 Poorboy's World Black Hole - 16 oz 1 Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss - 16 oz 1 DI Brushes EZ Detail Brush - Full Size 1 CarPro Eraser Intensive Oil and Polish Cleaner - 16 oz 2 DI Accessories Dispenser Bottles - 2 oz 1 Lake Country Yellow Cutting Pad - 3 inch 1 Lake Country Orange Light Cutting Pad - 3 inch 1 DI Accessories Sheepskin Wash Mitt without thumb 2 DI Microfiber Waffle Weave Drying Towel - 36" x 24" 1 DI Microfiber Ultra Plush Two Sided Towel - 16" x 16" 1 Lake Country Tire Dressing Applicator 2 DI Accessories Yellow Foam Applicator Pad 1 Lake Country White Polishing Pad - 5.5 inch 1 Lake Country Black Finishing Pad - 5.5 inch 1 Lake Country Orange Light Cutting Pad - 5.5 inch 1 Lake Country Yellow Cutting Pad - 5.5 inch 1 Lake Country Hydro Tech Crimson Ultra Fine Finishing Pad - 5.5 inch 1 Lake Country 3" Backing Plate for Porter Cable 7424 XP - 73 mm 2 Lake Country Snappy Clean Pad Cleaner Some things that weren't included in the cart: (purchased at walmart and target for much cheaper) Meguiar's Ultimate Compound (more intensive paint repair) Meguiar's Scratch X 2.0 (for swirls and light scratches) Meguiar's Clay Kit Lots of cheap microfibers Porter Cable 7427xp Some things that were not purchased that I would highly recommend: Wool pad and meguiar's m105 for tough scratches (I was afraid of using these products on my first detail) meguiar's m205 Blackfire Total Polish and Seal Perhaps a different wax. The natty's liquid wax was quite watery and ended up getting soaked up by the pad too quickly. |
