After searching, many people say the H&R springs are too rough, and I had eibachs (pro kit springs) on my last vehicle that were great. However, I read that having an e92 sport, those will only drop my car ~.5 of an inch? Is this true?

I would love to go with some KW v2's but this is a leased vehicle, so it's not worth it to me. I am also planning to compliment it with some Koni Yellows.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Yes, thats true on the drop. I had Eibach on my E90 and really liked the drop.

So it didnt even lower it a full inch? You liked the ride or the .5" drop?

I have been wondering the same thing - one area of confusion is the difference in drop height between the e92 and e90. All of the posts in a search say that Eibach Pro drops the car 1.2 in the front without a sport suspension but I have also read that all e92s come with sport springs whereas e90s do not. This somewhat explains why Eibach's site lists the e92 pro kit at a 1.0 drop in the front and the e90 at a 1.4.

Does this make sense to anyone or is the Eibach truely only a .5 inch drop in the front (1.2 - .6 or .7 for the non sport springs)?

Take a look at the post below - I believe the pro kit on the e92 looks perfect here but it also looks like more than a .5 inch drop...

It's not a huge difference in lowering. On my sedan with sports package it lowered it a bit. Just about right, maybe a tiny bit more than I was looking for. Don't see it being any different for a coupe. Ride, handling (with shocks), and aesthetics are fine.

Thanks for the info. It looks like the eibach doesn't drop the e92 much. I will be putting 19" iforged wheels on in a week or so, I guess I will have to see how much it will need to be lowered once I get those wheels on. I just don't want a harsh ride, but I may have to go with the H&R's.

I saw that, I believe I read on another thread that they had a part number but it wasn't actually released or something of the sort.

No problem - I'm almost sure the front Eibach is more than .5 inches from a Sport set up - more like the 1 inch listed on their website.

On my car it was something like 0.5" or maybe a bit more... but nothing drastic.

From what I've heard recently is that both H&R and Eibach springs dont drop the E92 as low as they do on the E90. No one really knows why but here is my thinking: the E92 already comes standard with sport suspension and already does sit lower than the E90. Thus with lowering springs, the E90 will receive a more substantial drop while the E92, already is lower than the E90, will not receive as low of a drop. I doubt it's caused by the components in the E92 because those springs work for both models.

here is 19'' rims on eibach prokit, looks perfect to me, it should look even lower in person. Hope the owner doesn't mind...
