Hi all,

I have for sale the Autodab DAB kit

This has been made to be compatible with CIC and comes with a discreet, amplified high gain antenna (not the nasty window antenna that sticks out like a sore thumb). No coding required, all plug and play and comes with all the harnesses. It basically adds FM modulation based DAB to your car and can be controlled via the CIC controller (station selection) or the steering controls.

This is new and tested but comes with the discreet aerial that I bought (which costed £40).

I'll sell the kit with this new discreet aerial for £150 inc delivery OR COLLECTION AT THE LONDON MEET TOMORROW for £130 for a quick sale (no it doesn't cost £20 to post lol).

Hi ya, I'm interested in this. Whats the difference between this and true DAB?

Unsure as to what FM Modulation means. Also where does this discreet aeriel go?

Also will song title and band be displayed on the cic sat nave screen if you have the radio setting on?

So many Q's sorry. I had dab on my Insignia and it was very good.

Hi mate,

It works similar to a FM transmitter (yes like those transmitters that you used to be able to get for iPods, that wirelessly play your iPod music in your car via a set FM frequency). This however, is hard wired into your car, so no nasty interference like you used to get with those. I'm not so sure if it displays the song title and band but it does display the station on the cic screen.

The aerial still goes on the window from the inside, but its very discreet. I'll bring it with me tomorrow anyway and you can have a look at it and see if it tickles your fancy. If not no pressure at all
