Intake air scoop
Does anyone use something like this:
http://www.e92-lighting.com/bmw-perf...ction-e9x-blk/ The air scoops feel like directing air into intake system in a better manner, thinking if it helps burning the fuel more efficiently and effectively with more air getting into the engine? Worth buying? Also found this Philips D1S bulb, http://www.e92-lighting.com/d1s-d2s-...s-6700k-8500k/ pretty cheap $180, I asked AutoPro here in AU, Philips D1S bulb costs more than $300. However, I wonder if the one on the Internet is genuine, as 6700k or 8500k doesn't seem genuine? |

You can get the Scoops for half the price from 'CYBA'. Do a search for 'Cyba Scoops'.
I bought some but ended up giving them away with an exhaust I sold. Can't help with the Philips though. I went with LUX from Stu. |

They don't look to be 100% genuine. Note they say Philips 'burners'.
At that price it's impossible. This guy here sells the genuine article: http://www.nigel-jdmparts.com/lights...id-light-bulbs Note purple insulation on return wire. |

Might be fairly pointless getting a PAIR of scoops as the 320i air intake only has one port to the filter box (the left hand side as you look at the car) so depends what engine you have. Might be worth taking the plastic air intake off, turning it upside down and taking a look before purchasing the scoops.
