from production week 1, couldn't even get the ipod usb adapter, but luckily could get comfort access. car was built in Feb 07, shipped here early March and held at the VPC until the end of March for delivery. I just had to have the first one....memories.....glad you all followed along!

I'll tell you, I honestly love the E93, but unfortunately my buddies unlucky purchase of a 335i from hell has swayed me away to other nicer cars.

His 335i Vert LEAKS!!!! It leaks like a SOB, he can't drive it and is scared to drive it because the frame is bent. To our astonishment it was sold to him that way!!!! With 2 warped up freaking wheels as well. BMW NA and the dealer won't do anything to offer him a replacement or compensation, so he has been forced to take legal matters. To data has been the slowest thing ever.

At this point he has to sell his other car, his beloved Beetle TurboS, P.S. it's fast!

Due to a down turn in his company has has been forced to cut back and has to sell Beetle. He probably could afford both, but you guys know how it is.

Here's a video of it leaking!

I was recording it that day.

But the leak is when he goes thru a touchless car wash! As much as it shouldn't leak, that's not cause for asking for a replacement car IMO, on a convertible. It's one thing if it leaked when it rained... which your post makes it sound like.

Sorry, IMHO I don't agree with you. On very cold days my roof drips but nothing like on the video when I go through Touchless which is common. However on warm days with rubber sealing expanding I don't have even dripping.

Go look at the video again

I can not drive the car in the rain without getting wet, lets not even discuss what happens if I try and wash it, bottom line is I can not wash it. But that's another thread, lets see some pictures
