Just got my intake valves cleaned!!
I had just purchased this car a couple weeks ago with 42k miles on it. i heard that these cars are direct injection and from past experience know that there can be issues, read reviews online about carbon buildup on the intake valves. since i just bought this car want it to be running perfectly before i install a jb4. so i looked around and the cheapest i can find to get the service done was $450 and the most expensive was $900
Several people pointed me in the direction of a guy by the name of sammy. spoke to him, answered all my questions and gave me an astonishing price of $250 . Met up with him at his shop and i was in and out in about 3 hours! the car runs a lot smoother and Feels like a whole new car and LOL and i just bought it! he replaced a bunch of vaccume lines as well for free!! honest guy and knows his stuff his car is a beast too here are some before and afters Defiantly Recommended service! and i can not wait to get a JB4 Last edited by Chillin335; 01-27-2014 at 10:36 AM.. |

Jeez.. Those look bad. I have 38k on mine right now and was planning on waiting for a while, but now I'm wondering if I shouldn't get it taken care of. Car starts immediately, no stumbles, seems to be making good power. Hmpf...

Can these be cleaned "Italian" style? Maybe at a track day or something? That would be more fun.

Got my intake valves cleaned by him on Saturday. He did a great job and was super quick. He is very knowledgeable and skilled. Took him a little under 2 hours. You cannot beat this deal anywhere.
