Paint shop

Alright, need some recommendations for painting my 5 year old aero lip and new M3 side skirt. Just wondering if there is any good body shop along the Northshore region?

Thanks in advance.

Best shop ever is A&L autobody. Sister company of "IND." Trust me his work is amazing. When I go there at least 10 high performance vehicles are there from lambos to audi R8s to even the brand new M4 and M3!

Humm, it is a bit of drive. But I also know someone who had some horror stories with them, but it wasn't paint related.

Guess I will give them a try. Any idea how much would it be roughly.

I'm friends with Sabri Motors in Schiller Park, IL.
The quality will be just like from any decent bodyshop but if I take you there it would be a lot cheaper!
Shops that work on exotics are just expensive and over priced like some of the cars they work on.

I will most likely going to A&L next week to get the bumper repainted along with some suspension and cooler installs. Getting it done all in one shop should save me a lot of troubles. Will let you guys know how it turns out.

I've been going to A&L for about 8 years now with getting my parts painted (as well as other things). Paint has always been dead on and pricing is great. Worth the drive.

they're only about 6 miles from my workplace so it'd be sweet to drop some stuff off during my lunch break. i can't go all baller status like G-money here.

did A&L paint your MTECH front bumper and fenders?

will do. I scuffed up the aerolip at one side last summer at a parking lot. front bumper needs a respray too from rock chips over the years, and some light scratches from some idiot who back into it last month (probably from that one time I parallel parked it on the street while grabbing lunch back in Nov., car was dirty and just noticed that 3 weeks ago). that also broke the lower mount tabs for the kidney grills, but I fixed it up with some 3m tape. sigh, people these days...

Got the car back today. Was in for front bumper and aero lip respray, along with whole bunch of other stuff (suspensions, oil coolers, etc.)

No complaint. Everything was done exactly as I instructed and the final cost came noticeably less than I was quoted originally, and Anthony would text you like your girlfriend to keep you in the loop. Paint looks to be great match as well, and some of you might know monaco blue is one of the hardest colors to match properly.

Sorry Dan didn't see this post till now. Sometimes that notification thing doesn't work.

But wow, great shot of the car that I haven't even seen yet.

But to answer your question, A&L painted my M3 bumper (this bumper I bought painted), my fenders, sideskirts, and rear mtech bumper.
