If you plan on doing it, make sure you have a free weekend. Just take your time and you should be fine.
Ahh yeah see resealing is the biggest fear for me as well. Was it an issue with the type of glue or anything?

If it makes you feel any better, your headlights still look amazing..

Haha thanks.

A bit tough to explain but I'm going to give it a shot. The issue was just that the butyl rubber (OEM sealant) isn't meant to be messed with numerous times. When I was putting on the lens the second time around it wasn't seating where it should have been. The butyl rubber in a way was blocking it it from being seated correctly. Thus causing a small gap that I haven't been able to locate. I've resealed it with various sealants and nothing's done the trick. Lightwerkz is going to open it back up, remove all glues/sealants and use butyl rubber to seal it back up.

Also, my turn signal in that headlight stopped working. I assume it's related to the condensation. Going to have them take a look at that too.

If anyone needs coding services in Chicagoland, PM me! I know of someone that offers the service locally and he's pretty cheap, too.

Hi guys, I'm in Chicago for the month and I'm looking for a shop to do the cdv delete on my car. You guys have any recommended shops that know how to do these kinds of mods? Also looking to install a 330ci short shifter on my car and get a brake flush but cdv is my priority for that smoother ride. Thanks

I don't have aftermarket DP's. I think you need a DP fix from what I read. You'll also need to set the JB4 map to 0 and drive it around for a bit.

Mehhh... I might just swap back to stock DP's for the test. Sounds like the fix can get really finicky

I had already done DP's, JB4, E85, charge pipe, DV's before I did the FMIC. I can honestly say it was the first mod that scared me after getting on it. It no longer falls flat on its face when doing long pulls on the expressway. Highly recommended mod!

Perillo Bentley lambo in downers grove. It has an audible exhaust I can hear from in car even with a respectable volume.
