ATL, BHAM, Huntsville -Looking for someone to host and help with some DPs!

I don't know much about the car and would love to get my hands dirty. However, I don't have the tools, lift or confidence to finish it by myself.

Needing some help installing VRSF DPs. Thanks everyone!

Max

Edit: In gadsden, al, would drive to atl, bham, huntsville

I dont have time but you dont need all that much equiptment....

Firstly you need to strip the intake manifold off which can be time consuming the first time. There should be some instructions in some service manual.

As for the actual walnut blasting be aware that although harbour freight sell a hand loaded hopper, I tried this and its not particularly effective, and definately not as effective as the solution that garages use. The garage solution is contained... the hand loaded hopper is hell of a messy!

The other option that works instead of hand loaded hopper is to use wire brushes (gun cleaning kits are great) and tons of brake cleaner to manually scrub the valves. It is quite hard work to get the properly clean but it is possible.

Personally if you can find someone with the proper equiptment to do it for sub 500USD... Do it!
