Anyone know if the 261 injectors (post-recall) are the same as the 'newest' 079 injectors people are talking about?

And if you're having documented injector problems, can you demand all 6 be replaced with 079?

It's different. Has upgraded filters and oil.

If you are under warranty, you can probably demand all 6 to be replaced. But the dealerships are instructed to use up the old injectors from BMWNA.

If you know the SA well enough, he can probably do something for you. Say either it's all 6 with new parts or bad customer review.

I am on CPO warranty now, not original factory warranty. But my SA has been a champ (got me 4 new rotors and 4 sets of new brake pads installed as my factory warranty was ending) and I am going to push for all 6 replaced, as well as plugs and coils if I can. What does he care lol. Else bad review
