Brake/DSC Malfunction and car won't start
I have a 2009 E92 328i and the problem started about a month ago. The car would not start, so I thought the battery was just drained since I haven't driven the car for over a week. I jumped it and the car started and everything seemed fine. A couple days ago it happened again but this time the Brake/DSC malfunction message came up, I jumped it again and the car started and was fine until tonight. It's not starting again and it's giving me the same message. I'm not sure if it's just the battery being low causing this or is the problem more serious? I'm going to take it to the dealer tomorrow but I just want to get some info first so I'd know if it's safe to jump it and drive it to the dealer or just have it towed. Thank you in advance.

Battery
I would have to guess the battery is the problem. Although, your alternator could be part of the problem too, for it is not charging the battery. Autozone does a diagnosis of both for free. If it is the battery, remember you need to have it programed after you put the new one in. Unless you know someone who has the software, your stuck paying the dealer $200.00.
Bosch makes a really good AGM battery for about $225.00, |

I see, I guess I can just jump it and take it to the dealer. Thank you for the response.
