Glad i could help.. theres just so much info on the forum, it was nice to stack it; well some of it, on one thread.

FWIW, i waited until i was broken in or about 3K miles before i put the SSTT on, was just anal about breaking in the car stock and all. but ALOT of people have put tunes on there cars before 1K miles(PROcede,SSTT,xede,JB, etc.) just matters on what u feel is right, i dont think it really matters at the end of the day i guess

Ask for Kevin Hale

that's awesome since that's where i got my ride....does this mean that i won't have to remove my SSTT for service and not void my warranty ?

that's exactly my plan....better safe than sorry...

Remember that your warranty is from BMWNA, and not your dealer. (Your dealer is just your interface with BMWNA) Let's say, worst case, that your engine goes boom with the SSTT installed. Your dealer may tell you that it's no problem, but if they leave it installed when the BMWNA regional rep comes by to authorize them to drop in a $10K+ engine, I'd say you'll have a fight in your future.

The way that I'd look at it is this: if the dealer is cool with an SSTT, then you have the convenience of not having to remove it during routine service. If something goes really wrong, though, either you or them needs to take it off.

^````Excellent way to put it! I agree

Someday we may get to a point where that is not needed but we are not there yet.

Just got back from the 1/4 mile track today. I ran 12.93 at 108.74 in a 2007 335XI sedan with automatic and the Turbo Tuner. (doing 12.9 four times out of four runs) The only thing that has been changed was the tires are now Falken 512 (read cheap!) all season tires on the stock 18" sport wheels and the Turbo Tuner. This is my second time at the 1/4 mile track with this car. The last time was last week and ran 13.1 for four runs.

Last week the other 335i's with Procedes were running 12.8's (one with drag radials) so I think this is a HUGE win for a heavy four wheel drive family truckster on all season radials.

Slip has been posted on dragtimes but can take up to 24 hours to show up.

yea^. a couple people are using the SSTT with FMIC's, and CAI(logic,UR).
full exhausts are great aswell.
i would think ur next step either being, FMIC or CAI. then exhaust and or last DP's. if ur gonna go catless DP, u def need simms. without them ur gonna throw check engine light which will after a while put the car into limp mode.
