cleaning and preserving dakota leather
the interior on my 2010 is in pretty good nick so i was wondering what you would use to keep it looking like new? Would leatherique be ok to use in this car?

Clean with Gliptone Leather Cleaner and protect with Gtechniq L1

I use megs leather once a week and my interior always looks new after.

wound up buying chemical guys leather cleaner and conditioner. lets see how it works. my leather isnt bad but id like to clean up the steering wheel and armrests and whatnot.

Sorry for the confusion. I was simply saying that maintaining clean leather seats will help preserve the life of the leather.

Those are great products. If done regularly, your leather will be looking like new for many years.

My leather seats in all vehicles still look great, even past 300k on cars where the leather wears out badly- like Volvos. I use cleaning wipes here and there, whatever is cheap, and treat them with Lexol about once a month or so and let it really soak in. Most of it is just keep the seats moisturized and not letting them dry out. Dirt also acts like sandpaper, so keep them clean.

just used the chemical guys sprayable leather. man, my steering wheel was dirty. also my seat looks like it was pretty dry since its a little darker now. feels a little sticky though, i guess i didnt buff it off enough.

Pristine clean! My fav leather cleaner, very safe and works great to clean and protect in one step leaving a matte finish.
