Some of the local Orlando shops should offer this service up for a small fee. I'd be interested. I'm really interested in getting this flash, with paddle fix too and I'm just too nervous to mess with the car myself.

Why dont you take your talents to Sobe and get it done out here? Few hours road trip and get to test it.

I did the flash myself on my car definitely a big difference. Aside from faster shifting and smoother overall ride, the paddles are extremely responsive now. I feel like they pretty much instant now. Def recommend getting it done.

I'm from Miami, and folks are now in Broward. However, going down there involves the kids and wife and folks and...

It's tempting to try and arrange a family trip to see the folks, I would just rather drive down the road and get the goodness that I keep reading about.

I've read some reports about going to the M3 style where left is - and right is
+ from this flash with current paddle set up left -/+ and right -/+. I would eventually want to go with the M3 paddle wiring and was wondering if you know more about flashing for that later after your current flash? For example, is it just an updated flash that accounts for M3 wiring of the paddles, or maybe something more involved? Just curious.

I may be down in Orlando in the next couple of weeks to do some walnut blasting. I could do coding as well for those interested. PM me and I'll see what I can work out. It'll have to be over the weekend though, possible including a Friday.

I have a 2009 E92 that came with the paddles where each side could up and down shift. I installed an M3 wheel and paddles and it was 100% plug and play. Now the left paddle down shifts and the right up shifts. No coding was required.

Ah, swore I read that you have to re-wire a little to make them work, especially after you flash with Alpina. Good news if true, the easier the better.

Just swap out the valve body and you'd be good to go!

Nice! Thanks for confirming. Hopefully I can get this done at some point so I can regret not getting a stick a little less.

Sammy posted a DIY video somewhere. Not too bad really. Just buy a tranny from a yard and swap them out, program and you're done. Don't have to remove the tranny either.
