Hmm what do we have here...
Just got my advan meth tank from the guys down under, this fits in the trunk completely hidden under the mat. For all the procede PWM meth guys - I'll do a write up once everything is installed so you know what is needed to convert it to braided lines and whatnot.

Is there a way to place the pump somewhere below the car where the huge stock mufflers were for gravity feeding it?
4.5 liters would be enough, especially if using 100% meth on it and leaving your WW-meth fluid concentration to 30% meth, 70% water for which it is designed for to keep it safe. I believe the pwm kit could support this additional tank+pump, if not directly, with slight modifications? Has the design addressed sloshing some way? In general tanks should be tall for keeping air out of the line. |

Very nice. You are taking a similar approach as myself... Low capacity and stealth(and safe). I like it, however I won't be putting it in the trunk and I'm likely having to pay a lot more

That unit is just too damn sweet! It's an investment, but one well worth making.

This is great. Advan has placed the pump somewhere under the car so that the pick-up goes from the very bottom of the tank down directly and together with baffle this should work well. Personally I'd keep the Vishnu kit water injection properties from the WW reservoir intact, but fill it with a typical washer fluid concentration that suits windshield washing well and thus complies with the design and safety level of the original WW system. Using the reservoir as well would more than double the total tank capacity. This would work even better if the 30% meth fluid will spray similar to the current pwm-system logic, albeit less, and the 100% meth would spray additionally by using its own power nozzles & pump when higher meth concentration is needed for cooling and fueling. |

Hey Jonah, thanks for posting up a few pics, I also look forward to reading your installation and component write-up. In the meantime, here are a few more pics of the aluminium tank in its raw state and an installation we did for one of our customers. Cheers, JD. gotta admit, Advan got the right idea. i was seriously looking for this tank but the price drove me away. too bad they can't mass produce it, even with molded plastic.
i love the stealth look. |

WW tank holds ~1.5 gallons. This tank translates to 1.2 gallons. They definitely have room to make the tank a bit larger. It would be great to see a disign that completely replaces that tray, and bolts in in its place. Could pick up close to a gallon more like that I'd bet.

I really like this design but I'm a tad bit concerned about having the pump sit over the amp. I guess there arent many options fir a stealthy install, but a leak or pump malfunction would get expensive really quickly.

Yep,
she sure is easy on the eye. I am looking forward to see what Jonah does with his tank too. Thanks shiv, cheers. As already stated 4.5 litres, but our tank design was never based around capacity, it was all about "stealth". Thanks mate. FYI guys, we have recently completed an E82 version too, the capacity of that is approximately 5 litres. Cheers, JD. Last edited by Justin@ADVAN Performance; 06-24-2012 at 10:42 AM.. Reason: Typo |
