New Rims Fitted.
So after having a Rear 230 style wheel Diagnosed with a crack, I decided to ditch the OEM wheels and buy some aftermarket ones.
A quick call to Chris @ CM Wheels before Christmas, and I'd decided what to get. A great service from the guys at CM Wheels btw, with them arriving on Christmas eve. The wheels are VMR 710 style made by a company called PDW, and according to Chris they are the only TUV approved VMR style wheel available. The rims are load rated to 800 odd kg each, so should prove to be strong enough for our dodgy roads!! Specs are 8.5 J x 19 Front ET35 9.5J x 19 Rear ET33 I may fit some 10mm spacers to the front in the near future, just to fill the arches out. |

Looking good! I bought some CSL type reps a year ago and thought that they would all be pretty much the same but every time I see someone else with a pair they always look better.

nice choice mate!
silver rimz always look good on darker coloured cars IMO! just that front end needs lowered a tad and it will completely transform the look of the car with those wheels

Are they hyper silver? Also what size tyres, did you change or stay OEM size?

Yeah, I know what you mean re: lowering. Not sure it's a true representation though as the ground wasn't level, the car has M Sport suspension on so doesn't look too bad on level ground. Definitely room for improvement though!

Looking very tidy.
Is the front lip genuine? With this colour car I actually prefer the SE rear bumper to the M sport, looks good. |

Six pot
Nice looking wheels, well suited to the car. In the close ups, your brake calipers look like new. Are they or have you painted them as they also look good behind your new wheels. If you painted them what did you use and how long ago did you do it ? Dave |
